The Story Behind Core Seeker
In 2018, Brandon embarked on a life-changing journey, traveling through different countries. As he explored new places and immersed himself in diverse cultures, he began to notice something profound: the powerful connection between the culture people lived in and their overall sense of well-being. In some cultures, people seemed to thrive in harmony with their environment, while in others, stress and disconnection were more prevalent. This sparked a question that would shape Brandon’s path moving forward: What is the core to a healthy well-being?
He discovered that one of the key factors influencing mental health was how people valued and connected with their environment, and how they understood their purpose in life.
This led to the creation of Core Seeker. Brandon developed a framework that would help students consciously recognize patterns in their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. The goal was simple: to empower students to see themselves more clearly and to give them the opportunity to make positive changes, if they choose to. Through practical, engaging activities, students could apply what they learned directly to their lives.
Core Seeker was built on the belief that mental and emotional fitness is a lifelong skill. The program encourages students to develop self-awareness and build resilience, skills they can use daily and carry with them throughout their lives. Brandon’s vision was to create a space where students could not only thrive in the present moment, but also be equipped with tools to navigate life’s challenges in the future.
